Seiko Chariot 7830-8030 Silver Linnen 1979
Wonderful Vintage Seiko Chariot Watch with reference 7830-8030. The Seiko Chariot series from late-70s is often forgotten, but this 1979 example is really nice!
Seiko Chariot was a high-end quartz range of watches, which shows because the Seiko Cal. 7830 found in this watch was also used in Credor models - it was accurate to 20s/ a month which was quite the feat in 1979! This Vintage Seiko watch is a clean, stainless steel round case and slate grey linnen dial and perfect as a dress watch.
The watch originally came on a leather strap, but to match the dial i've paired it with a grey suede leather strap.
The case is still in good shape with minor usage and good condition steel case, dial and crystal. A Fresh battery has been placed ensuring the watch works perfectly.
This was model CHA048 from the 1978 catalog costing ¥33000 back then!
