Vintage Seiko Emblem Watch 7832-5010 quartz 1977 SGP JDM
Absolute top vintage Seiko Quartz watch from the Emblem series with reference 7832-5010. This vintage Seiko watch was produced in 1977. Nice shape case in stainless gold plated and neat white dial. Watch was produced in the Daini factory, as can be seen by the Daini lighting bolt at 6 o'clock. This is a JDM (Japan Domestic Market Model) made for the Japanese market.
The Emblem series is a relatively unknown line of watches from the 1970s, but was a relatively unknown series of watches, reflected in the price of 50,000 for the MHH824, which was very expensive at the time. The crystal has scratches, but it is hard to source the correct crystal for this model as it is an irregular shape, so I decided to keep it this way. It comes on a worn black leather strap with gold buckle.
The watch case has been ultrasonically cleaned and is therefore completely neat again. Watch was fitted with a new battery in March 2024.
